Brisbane-based Senex Energy has kicked off its second drilling campaign in Australia’s onshore Surat basin, as part of the Western Surat gas project that will produce coal seam gas (CSG) for the Gladstone LNG (GLNG) export plant.
The project involves drilling 30 wells across the Glenora and Eos blocks located in the south-east of the project area in Queensland. The site is situated to the north of the producing Roma field that is already feeding gas to GLNG.
