South Korean energy conglomerate SK Group has penned memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreements with GE and shale driller Continental Resources to jointly develop US shale gas acreage.
SK said the agreement will help bring US LNG to South Korea, in addition to other markets, without adding further detail. To date, SK has signed a single tolling agreement for 2.2 mtpa from the three-train Freeport LNG plant in Louisiana.
