All essential pipeline infrastructure to export gas from the giant Shah Deniz II field in the Caspian Sea to Europe is on track for completion by 2020, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has told local media.
Work on the 1,850 km Trans Anatolian Natural Pipeline (TANAP) is 65% complete, he said. The South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) and Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) are also progressing well, with construction 80% and 35% finished, respectively.
