The timeline for implementing the Iran nuclear agreement appears to be on track. But when will the oil and gas sector see the first contracts signed with Iran? As soon as Easter 2016 says Mahdi Kazemzadeh, CEO of Iran-focused Afraz Advisers, who has been taking delegations to Iran since the deal was announced in July. Many European firms are already doing the necessary due diligence to compete for business when international sanctions are relaxed, and opportunities exist for firms of all sizes, he says.
