Saudi Arabia, the world's largest exporter of crude oil, is planning to drill around seven shale gas test wells this year, Minister of Oil Ali al-Naimi told reporters on Monday. The Kingdom’s unconventional gas resources are estimated to be more than twice the size of its conventional gas reserves, which currently stand at 288 Tcf, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates.
