Argentina is aiming to stop importing LNG in no more than six years, president Mauricio Macri said this week.
Speaking at the inauguration of a project to expand Bahia Blanca port, home to one of Argentina’s two FSRU import terminals, Macri said it would take five to six years to wean the country off “very expensive” LNG imports.
