Work on Gazprom’s 55 Bcm/year Nord Stream 2 pipeline project will continue as planned, even if the company’s European partners pull out of the venture in the wake of Polish objections, industry sources told Gas Matters Today on Wednesday.
Sources close to Gazprom told Gas Matters Today that the Russian company is unlikely to be fazed by the withdrawal of its European partners from the project company, noting that Gazprom has a myriad of financial instruments at its disposal to fund the pipeline.
