Cruise line group Carnival Corporation has signed a tentative agreement with European shipbuilders Meyer Werft and Meyer Turku for three new LNG-fuelled vessels.
The ‘memorandum of agreement’ is subject to several conditions, including financing, Carnival said in a statement. If approved, Meyer Turku would build two ships in Finland for delivery dates in 2020 and 2022, while Meyer Werft would build one in Germany for delivery in 2020.
