North Sea-focused DEA Deutsche Erdoel and its project partners have submitted a development plan for the Dvalin field to Norway’s ministry of petroleum and energy, the company said this week.
Formerly named Zidane, Dvalin will be DEA’s first operated field development in Norway and will cost NOK 10 billion (USD 1.25 billion). DEA plans to develop 18.2 Bcm of gas at the field, with first gas expected in 2020.
