UK shale developer IGas may hold up to 11 Tcf (312 Bcm) of unconventional gas in its central and northern England licenses, Texas consultancy DeGolyer and MacNaughton (D&M) estimated in a report this week.
IGas’s East Midlands and North West licenses had 102 Tcf of gas in place, with 11 Tcf of unrisked prospective resource, the report commissioned by London-based IGas said.
