Egypt state-run EGAS plans to delay a tender to lease a third floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) until late November, instead of late October, pending a review of domestic power demand, reports this week suggested.
EGAS is still reportedly seeking a third FSRU for delivery in late June 2017. Gas Matters Today contacted EGAS, but the company did not respond before the time of publishing. Neither EGAS nor the Egyptian oil ministry have posted notices on their websites.
