Utility firm AGL Energy is mulling the construction of an LNG terminal in southeast Australia and has begun a USD 17 million feasibility study with a view to reaching a possible final investment decision (FID) by 2019.
The region is key to AGL, as most the company’s 3.7 million customers and the bulk of its generation capacity reside there.
