Bumi Sarana Migas, a subsidiary of Indonesian conglomerate Kalla Group, and unnamed Japanese partners are to build a 500 Mcf/day (roughly 0.04 mtpa) onshore LNG import terminal in the western state of Banten to address a gas deficit caused by depleting gas reserves.
The estimated USD 750 million terminal will be partially funded by debt and equity, including loans from Japanese banks, Kalla said in a statement this week.
