US gas and oil market indicators are yet to react to news that Oklahoma attorney general Scott Pruitt has been sworn in as head administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in what could mark the beginning of president Trump's pro-hydrocarbons 'America First' energy policy and the end of the Clean Power Plan.
Trump's climate change sceptic nominee has more than verbally clashed with the EPA in the past. He sued the national watchdog in 2015 over plans to create the Clean Power Plan and has remained a vociferous opponent of the measures since then.
