Egypt and Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the import and export of natural gas, with Egyptian companies also agreeing to supply gas to industrial consumers in Jordan, Egypt’s petroleum ministry said this week.
The agreements were made on the sidelines of the Third International Conference on Energy held in the capital of Jordan, Amman. The MoU was signed by Jordan’s minister of energy, Ibrahim Saif, and his Egyptian counterpart, Tariq Al-Mulla.
