The Dutch government is considering once again lowering the production cap on the Groningen gas field from 24 Bcm to 21.6 Bcm, citing ongoing concerns over seismic activity in the region.
This would be the fourth in a series of production cuts since 2013, potentially raising questions over security of gas supply in the Netherlands.
