Global LNG supply increased by 3.2 mt (3.2%) year on year in Q4 ‘23 to 104.45 mt, the highest recorded quarterly level. It took the outcome for the year to 401.76 mt, up by 7.62 mt (1.9%), but well below the long-term average growth rate, and less than increases of 5.6% in 2022 and 5.2% in 2021 when the global economy was recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic.
