ECC gives nod to 3.5 mtpa import terminal near Karachi

Less than two weeks after the Pakistani government decided to fast-track plans for LNG imports, the cabinet’s Economic Coordination Committee (EEC) has given preliminary approval for the development of a 3.5 mtpa LNG import terminal in Port Qasim, in Karachi.
