PGNiG extends gas supply agreement with Gazprom, but future demand could be met by Poland’s shale gas reserves

After extended negotiations in Moscow, Polish gas monopoly, PGNiG and Gazprom have finally reached a gas supply agreement. Gazprom will supply Poland a maximum of 10.2 Bcm/y until 2037, 2.3 Bcm/y more than volumes currently supplied.
