Trinidad & Tobago government announces natural gas allocation strategy

Trinidad & Tobago’s energy minister Conrad Enill on Thursday announced the Cabinet’s strategy for allocating the nation’s natural gas, assuring the nation that there are enough to reserves to support the existing four power plants, four LNG plants, 11 ammonia plants, seven methanol plants and four direct reduced iron plants. What new applications were indicated were often caveated with conditions giving the government room for adjustment.
