Nabucco consortium approaches EIB for funding

The Nabucco consortium has approached the European Investment Bank (EIB) and is likely to ask for up to €2 billion ($2.7 billion) in financing for the pipeline project, EIB vice president Mathias Kollatz-Ahnen said.
