Nabucco pipeline has the "full support" of the EU, Nabucco MD confirms
The Nabucco pipeline project has the "full support" of the European Union, as well as the governments of the transit countries, the managing director of Nabucco Gas Pipeline International, Reinhard Mitschek, confirmed to Gas Matters Today. The statement came in response to accusations from Kazakhstan's president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, that the EU was not doing enough to speed the development of the pipeline planned to bring Caspian gas into Europe.
