Lithuanian government passes resolution to start immediate development of LNG terminal

The Lithuanian government has passed a resolution to start the “development of an LNG terminal immediately”, the head of the strategic planning and EU affairs division at Lithuania’s energy ministry confirmed to Gas Matters Today on Monday. “This is clear signal that an LNG terminal will be built, but particular technological options are currently under consideration,” Zygimantas Vaiciunas said.
