Novatek sees 2011 gas output up 12%

Novatek expects gas production in 2011 will rise by 12% to around 41 Bcm, the company's chief financial officer said on Tuesday. Russia's biggest independent gas producer said it is likely to reach the upper end of its 2010 production target at 36-38 Bcm, after output in the first half of the year surged to 18.12 Bcm, up 15% from H1-2009.
