E.ON Ruhrgas CEO forecasts gas oversupply to last for three to five years

E.ON Ruhrgas’ newly installed CEO Klaus Schäfer said he expects the current oversupply in Europe’s gas markets to last for the next three to five years. It was this which prompted Germany’s biggest gas buyer to initiate talks with Gazprom over changing the conditions attached to its long-term contracts.
