Sinopec says size of Yuanba gas field may equal Puguang find

China’s Yuanba gas field, under development by Sinopec, the country’s second largest oil and gas producer, might be similar in size to the adjacent Puguang field, a Sinopec official said today. The Yuanba- 204 well is the second largest gas well in the region with a potential to produce about 1.3 MMcm/d of gas, according to a CNPC newsletter.
