KazMunaiGas to take a 35% stake in BG Group North Sea exploration licence

KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production, which is majority-owned by Kazakhstan’s state oil and gas company KazMunaiGas, agreed on Tuesday to take a 35% stake in the P1722 North Sea exploration licence held by BG Group. The two companies plan to drill a well at the White Bear prospect, which is included in the licence area, next year.
