SOCAR expects to finalise gas export deal with Turkey by March 2011

Azerbaijan’s state-run energy company SOCAR said it is confident of finalising a gas deal with Botas by the end of March 2011. The accord is seen as a precondition for gas exports from the Caspian region to Western Europe via the proposed Nabucco pipeline.
