New gas discovery to boost Gujarat reserves

The discovery on the Cambay Field was made by Australian oil and gas exploration company, Oliex operating under the Cambay field production sharing contract (PSC) that is held jointly with the Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC). The Cambay field may hold 853 Bcf of reserves justified for development and another 720 Bcf of resources, to make the 1.5 Tcf in reserves, Oilex said.
