China tackles fuel efficiency and CO2 emission targets

The Copenhagen climate change jamboree ended with nothing to show for the efforts of the negotiators other than agreeing that a global temperature rise would be limited to 2oC without stating how to achieve it. During and after the meeting there were many recriminations with attempts to apportion blame for the failure. Gas Matters reviews China’s climate change goals and the role natural gas will play as part of China’s future environmentally-friendly energy mix.
