LNG Supply and Demand Q1 2010: The supply surge gathers momentum
LNG activity in the first quarter of 2010 increased by nearly 25% compared with the same period of 2009, confirming that the long expected surge in supply is now well underway. As figure 1 shows, after five successive quarters of decline, growth was re-established in the third quarter of 2009 and in the nine months since then the rate has accelerated to the record level reached in the first quarter of this year.
