Pakistan’s LNG plans – mired in delays and politics
Pakistan’s proposed Mashal regas project along with its supply tender has been a long, complicated and extremely confusing process since the government first launched the project in May 2006 – even with the latest news that prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has finally approved the supply winner – GDF SUEZ – with a 20-year contract worth over $25 billion.
