Fischer-Tropsch Process

A chemical process to convert Synthesis Gas to paraffins by polymerization. Originally developed in the early 20th Century to make gasoline from coal. Recent research has identified catalysts which greatly increase the efficiency of the process by creating very long waxy products, which can then be turned into very high quality liquid fuels by conventional cracking.
