BP has agreed to sell its interest in the Jonah and Pinedale upstream operations in Wyoming to LINN Energy for around $1 billion, the company said on Monday. BP will hand over its operations centre in Sublette County, Wyoming, and all of its working interest in approximately visual_editor60 operated wells with recent net production of 80 MMcf/d. Its non-operated wells in the area meanwhile have net gas production of 66 MMcf/d.
