Cheniere Energy on Tuesday announced it had entered into a Unit Purchase Agreement with investment funds managed by Blackstone for the sale of $visual_editor billion of equity in its Sabine Pass liquefaction project. The move follows agreements with eight financial institutions in April, to arrange $4 billion of debt financing for the development and construction of the project, to fund the acquisition of the Creole Trail pipeline and for general business purposes.
