The European Investment Bank (EIB) is considering granting Gas Natural Fenosa (GNF) a loan of up to €500 million ($718.48 million) with the funding aimed to enhance the integration of the Spanish gas market by realizing several gas distribution grid projects. “The EIB foresees presenting the project to the board in the fourth quarter 2011,” EIB spokeswoman Matilde del Valle Serrano told Gas Matters Today.
