Iraq postpones gas field auction again to October 20

Iraq has postponed its auction date for three natural gas fields for the second time, to October visual_editor0, after eight companies asked for three additional weeks to study contract terms, Abdul Mahdy al-Ameedi, the director general of Iraq’s ministry of Petroleum Contracts and Licensing Directorate said on Sunday. “Eight companies asked the Ministry to postpone the auction to give them more time to study the final tender protocol after the ministry made some amendments,” he told reporters.
