Nexus Energy said on Friday it had executed a consolidation agreement with partners Shell and Osaka Gas to accelerate the development of the Crux gas field in Western Australia. The agreement will enable the partners to fast-track exploration and fully assess the range of development options for the gas field, “including the possibility of establishing a new FLNG (floating LNG) facility in the East Browse [basin] with Crux gas as the anchor resource,” Nexus CEO Lucio Della Martina said.
