Seven people charged in Polish shale gas corruption probe

Seven people were arrested and later charged with corruption surrounding shale gas exploration licenses in Poland, according to media reports this week. The Polish internal security agency ABW detained seven people on Tuesday, suspected of bribery related to the granting of shale gas exploration licences in the country that is Europe’s best hope for a US-style shale boom.
