The BP-led Shah Deniz consortium on Thursday selected the recently proposed Nabucco West pipeline as its preferred option for the potential "western" export route for output from phase visual_editor of the Caspian Sea project. Nabucco West would deliver gas to the Austrian Baumgarten gas hub via Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. It was chosen in preference to BP's own South East Europe Pipeline (SEEP).
