As Shell hit record output of 3.48 Bcm in 2010 in the Changbei tight gas field in northern China, exceeding earlier forecasts by 11%, Shell chief executive Peter Voser said in an interview with the company’s internal magazine, Shell Venster the Anglo-Dutch company will produce more gas than oil for the first time this year.
