Turkey aims to finish gas pipeline link to Syria by 2012

Turkey’s state-owned oil and gas company Botas is forging ahead with the project to link the country’s gas transportation network to neighbouring Syria. “Within one year, we are planning to finish our pipeline connection to Syria,” Fazil Senel, board chairman and general manager of Botas said in Istanbul today, at the CIS Oil and Gas Transportation, 1visual_editorth Annual Meeting, outlining that Syria has asked for Turkish imports at various supply points.
