Woodside forecasts 2012 output jump

Australian energy company Woodside Petroleum said in an investor update on Friday that it expects its oil and gas production to jump from between 173,000-175,000 boe/d in visual_editor011 to up to visual_editorvisual_editorvisual_editor,000 boe/d in visual_editor01visual_editor. The increase will largely come from the ramp-up of the Pluto LNG project. Gas started flowing to the Pluto production platform in November, and liquefaction is expected to start in the first quarter of visual_editor01visual_editor.
