Neal Moxon

Neal Moxon is a Chartered Engineer with extensive international experience in LNG operations, commissioning, operational assurance and process safety. His experience is particularly relevant to disputes concerning whether LNG facilities and operations performed as expected, the causes and consequences of operational failures, and what would reasonably have been expected of an experienced LNG operator.

His expertise covers LNG facility operations and production, commissioning and start-up, operational readiness, performance testing, process safety, operational investigations, production planning and the operational interfaces affecting LNG deliveries. This enables him to address both specific technical events and the wider operating context in which they occurred.
During his industry career, Neal Moxon served as an LNG Operations Manager and subsequently as a Global Technical Authority, with responsibility for operational assurance across BG’s global LNG portfolio. His responsibilities included operational audits, readiness reviews and incident investigations.

His international LNG experience includes Atlantic LNG, Egyptian LNG and Queensland Curtis LNG. This combination of plant-level operating experience and portfolio-wide technical assurance gives him a strong practical basis for assessing operational performance, technical causation and the reasonableness of operational decisions.
