Warwick Cernoch brings extensive LNG and gas commercial experience to disputes involving contracts, pricing, valuation, infrastructure economics and the financial consequences of non-performance.

He has worked on disputes with aggregate claims exceeding $5 billion and has experience across the disputes process, including strength-of-case assessment, preparation for arbitration, expert analysis and report development, as well as oral evidence. His assignments have addressed commercial and contractual issues including price reviews, force majeure, non-delivery, damages and valuation.

His authority is underpinned by senior practitioner experience in the international energy industry. Before joining Gas Strategies, Warwick Cernoch held senior commercial positions including Head of LNG Business Development at RWE Supply & Trading. His experience spans LNG contracting and negotiation, commercial strategy, infrastructure, portfolio economics and valuation.

He combines this commercial background with corporate finance and valuation expertise, enabling him to address contractual and commercial questions in their wider economic context. This is particularly valuable where a dispute requires analysis of both what occurred commercially and its economic consequences.
