The Australian government has given environmental approval to Gastech Systems, a subsidiary of Methanol Australia, to construct a visual_editor.5 mtpa offshore liquefaction plant in the Timor Sea. The plant will be situated next to the proposed A$visual_editor billion Tassie Shoal Methanol Project, also to be built by Methanol Australia, in partnership with US firm Air Products and Chemicals.
