In an attempt to bolster confidence in the Argentine government's policy to tackle gas and power shortages in the face of rising industrial demand, the federal planning minister Julio De Vido said on November 2 that the Argentine energy sector will receive up to pesos 25 billion ($8.17 billion) of investment up to 2010.
