The Philippine government is in talks with natural gas companies in Canada and Brunei in an effort to secure LNG supply for the Pacific archipelago, according to local media reports on Monday. The Philippines is looking to replace domestic gas supply from the Malampaya gas field, offshore Palawan, which is expected to be exhausted by the middle of next decade.
