OMV and MOL turn to Iraq's Kurdistan to supply Nabucco pipeline
Austria's OMV and Hungary's MOL have launched an $8 billion scheme to supply the planned Nabucco pipeline with Iraqi gas from Kurdistan which could boost the prospects of the $10 billion project, although the deal threatens to widen the divisions between Iraq's central government and the semi-autonomous Kurdish government over who controls oil and gas reserves in the region.
