Yemen LNG will make its first shipment in July or August, eight months after it was originally slated to come onstream and four months later than the revised schedule. That's according to chief executive Joel Fort who said that the project would come in at $4 billion - 15% over budget, a figure he called a success. Fort told journalists that the start-up of the first train would be underway by the end of June, while a second train would be ready by the start of 2010, bringing the plant to full capacity of 6.7 mtpa.
